Fiona boosts Roadshow ratings

Fiona Bruce has helped Antiques Roadshow to its top ratings for four years - with some eight million viewers tuning in last Sunday night. The 44-year-old cult BBC1 programme attracted more than a third of the available audience when it broadcast from Southwell Minster, Notts. Average viewing figures are up from 5.9 million for the last series, presented by Michael Aspel, to around seven million now it is fronted by Bruce. And ratings are set to jump even more next month when what is promised to be its highest value item is featured in the show.
