Lip jab compensation for Burns

Eighties pop star Pete Burns will receive a payout from a Harley Street doctor for botched lip injections, his lawyers have said. The singer took legal action against surgeon Dr Maurizio Viel after suffering swelling and blisters after he received the treatment. Burns was injected with a product called Outline Original and was not adequately warned of possible side-effects, law firm Irwin Mitchell said. Last week the doctor's legal team told the High Court that he admitted the allegations, paving the way for a payout  which has not yet been agreed.
