Narrow UK escape for Iglesias

Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias has emerged unscathed after his plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Luton Airport. The singer was flying over the Atlantic from the US on Monday when his private plane ran into trouble, his record company, Polydor, said. The pilot was forced to shut down one of the jet's engines, and made the emergency landing. No one was hurt. The singer, who has had hits with Hero, Do You Know? and Don't Turn Off The Lights, is on a promotional tour of Europe after the release of his Greatest Hits album.
